HI,
My father, William Harvey was on the Eagle that day,8-11-1942. He was an antiaircraft gunner. I am trying to find out information about him. Does anyone know what ship picked him up after the sinking? Are there crew lists?

He went to Scottland for R&R and then on an LST 367 and ended up at Normandy for D Day. Are there any crew lists for this as well?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Information is so hard to find.
Thank you for your help.
